Happy Valentine's Day!
February 14th
I hope everyone has a wonderful day celebrating everyone in their lives that they love dearly. Last weekend OOSSO celebrated by giving each other hand made valentines, and making extras that we gave to the children's hospital.
Keep an eye out for all our upcoming events!
Out With The Old
Wednesday, October 15, 2014
We are going to changing the structure and content of our meetings. Meetings will be one of two types; activity meetings or social meetings. Activity meetings will consist of a little business, to keep you guys in the know, and games like the ice breakers we already play, but a lot more of them. Social meetings will be held outside of the classroom. For example our first social meeting will be at the new Dessert place on Easton Avenue. We'll let you know in advance, often via Facebook and emiail, and will be posting a calender that you can check.
NO SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER
SEPTEMBER 27
Due to the difficult traffic situation caused by the football game this Saturday, there will be no SND. Sorry, we're disappointed too. However, if you're going to the game look for your fellow out of staters!
Big Little Program Coming Soon!
TBD
This semester we want to start a mentoring program, similar to the Big/Little programs that Greek Life has. The purpose of this new optional program is to help new out of state Rutgers students settle into life in New Brunswick with the help of an older and/or more experienced out of state student. The mentors, or "bigs," will a personal resource to the new student to help their transition to Rutgers.
Weekly Meetings!
Wednesday, 9:15 p.m.
Our weekly gatherings have commenced with ice breakers, new business and socializing. Scott Hall room 119 at 9:15. Come out, meet people, and get involved!!
The Semester Begins
8/30/2014
Hopefully after today everyone will be moved in and ready to go! Classes start on Tuesday, as do the regular bus schedules. This first week is always busy so make sure to pay attention so that you don't miss something you want to see or do. Like the Involvement fair on Sept. 5th or our welcome reception on the 6th. We'll keep you updated on everything we've got going on so try to make some time for OOSSO in your busy first week here!
